Holidays are my absolute favorite because it gives me an excuse to browse Pacific Northwest gifts. Sure, I love treats, feasts, decorations, and also getting gifts myself. But what I really love is buying gifts for other people.
I spend a lot of time curating the perfect gifts by asking myself what’s the person’s interests, needs, and my relationship to them? What can I give them that is both thoughtful and practical?
Since I’m constantly curating gift ideas for my friends and family, I thought I’d share some of the best items I found with you. And if you saw my Seattle holiday markets article, you know I love shopping local. That’s why I decided to make a holiday gift guide featuring Pacific Northwest makers (a lot of which I discovered at holiday markets!).
So take a peek, find some gifts made in the Pacific Northwest, and learn more about some of the awesome local businesses you can support.

Tips for finding the best gift
- If the item is sold out, ask the seller to see if they can make more.
- If you like the idea of the item but not the style, click on the link and browse for one you prefer!
- Consider combining multiple interests in one gift. For example, if you have a geek in your life who is also eco conscious, get her one of the items on my eco gift guide but with her favorite geeky character!
- When in doubt, go practical. Not everyone likes little baubles lying around the house, so give them something they can use if you aren’t sure where they stand on this polarizing preference.
Without further ado, here are my favorite Pacific Northwest gift ideas!
