I’ve never had trouble coming up with bachelorette party ideas in Seattle. In fact, this is one of my favorite cities for hosting them. That’s because Seattle has everything you and your bridesmaids could ever want, be it a pampering spa day, splurging at the shops, or being outdoors.
Whether you’re all locals looking to celebrate, or you’re visiting and need a place to stay with a group, this guide will break down fun activities for you and your bachelorette party.

Bachelorette Party Ideas in Seattle
Save this to Pinterest for later, as I’ll add more bachelorette party ideas in Seattle as I discover them!
Rent out a spa
Renting out a spa for your bride is the perfect way to pamper them before the big day. Here are some of my favorite Seattle spas that let you reserve for a group:
- The Ladies Room – Typically a silent, women-only spa, but anything goes for your party
- Soak & Sage – Reserve the saunas, steam rooms, and cold plunge for groups of 4 or more
- Spa Noir – Ideal for 3-8 people, with a heavier focus on skin treatments

Get beauty treatments together
If renting a spa will break the budget, fear not. You can still pamper your friends with a day of mani-pedis or fancy blowouts. Here are some deals I found on Groupon:
- Night Light Nail Salon Mani-Pedis
- Mani-Pedi with Paraffin Wax Treatment at Mildred and Gertrude
- Brazilian Blowout Treatments
If those deals aren’t what you’re looking for, check out Swink Style Bar for blowouts or UrbanNailBox for eco mani-pedis.
Rent a party bus to go wine tasting
There are so many urban wineries in Seattle, especially around the SoDo neighborhood, that you could easily spend the day exploring them. Or better yet, rent a bus and spend the day tasting your way through the 100+ Woodinville tasting rooms.
Here are some companies offering wine tasting tours:
- Woodinville Wine and Snoqualmie Falls Day Tour
- Bon Vivant Woodinville Wine Tasting Tour
- Wine, Bread, Cheese and Chocolate Tour of Seattle

Go on a brewery crawl in Ballard
If the bride is a beer nerd, take her on a brewery crawl through Ballard, AKA the beer capital of Seattle. There are more than a dozen breweries, each with a variety of ales and a host of food trucks to choose from.
Or break out of your comfort zone and book a ride on the Cycle Saloon. It’s a 16-person pedal-powered vehicle that’s designed to take you brewery hopping around Ballard.
Take in views from the water
If the weather is in your favor, one of the best ways to see Seattle is to get out on the water. You can book a boat cruise around the Seattle Locks or go on a 2-hour Seattle sailing harbor tour.
For a more low-key experience, rent out a floating wood-fired sauna from WildHaus, or if it’s a chilly day, rent a hot tub boat to cruise around Lake Union.

Attend a sultry cabaret, burlesque, or drag show
I’ve been to more bachelorette drag brunches than I can count, and I never tire of them. If you’re into cabaret or burlesque, check out The Triple Door, Pike Place’s Can Can Culinary Cabaret, or Julia’s on Broadway, home to Seattle’s longest-running drag cabaret experience.
For more extravagant experiences, check out Teatro Zinzanni, a cirque meets comedy and music experience. They take breaks throughout the year as they move to a new pop-up space, but the best part is the show changes with every turn over.
If food is the primary goal, savor a drag brunch at Dreamland Bar & Diner or catch a live show or musical performance at The Pink Door over some of the best Italian food in Seattle.

Rent a room at a speakeasy or sexy bar
There are so many rooftop bars and speakeasies in Seattle, but most of us rarely make it a point to visit them. A bachelorette party is the perfect opportunity to book out a room at a new bar you’ve been eyeing.
I suggest stopping by Inside Passage, a quirky, underwater-themed tiki bar located inside Rumba rum bar. The drinks are served in comical glassware and the bar is just big enough to hold a small group of girlfriends. For rooftop bars, my go-to is mbar, a swanky, Middle Eastern restaurant meets cocktail bar.

Go on a bar crawl
Nothing says bachelorette party more than a bar crawl. I mean, bar crawls are fun for a reason, and what better excuse than a bachelorette celebration?
If you’re in Capitol Hill, I suggest snagging a reservation at Canon for their extensive spirits selection, then making reservations at Needle & Thread a speakeasy inside nearby Tavern Law. Then, head to The Unicorn for psychedelic carnival vibes and strong cocktails. End the night at Linda’s Tavern, a cowboy-themed bar with cheap drinks and delicious bar grub.
If you’re closer to Ballard, I suggest starting at the Hazlewood Bar for chic drinks on velvet plush couches, then going to Percy’s & Co. for some of the best comfort food in Seattle and Prohibition-era cocktails. End on a high note at King’s Hardware for some burgers and elevated dive bar vibes.

Go on a tour of the city
If you’re entertaining bridesmaids from out of town, what’s a better way to see the city than through a tour?
If you’re foodies, check out my self-guided food tours. In each, I cover different foodie neighborhoods and includes my top restaurants, plus alternates and tips on what to order and when to visit to get the most out of your experience. They’d be perfect for a crawl at your own pace without needing to stop the chatter like you would with a guided tour.

Take a cooking or cocktail class together
Taking classes is one of the most underrated ways to spend an afternoon with friends. If you’re into food, The Pantry offers cooking classes and private dinners, or you can book a class with ambiance at Bella Luna Farms.
If you’re more into the dirty side of things, think gardening, beekeeping, or permaculture, visit 21 Acres in Woodinville and learn what it takes to maintain a sustainable green space.
Learn a craft together
Just like cooking classes, taking a craft class is a fun, wholesome friend date. Stir Up the Paint is a traveling paint and sip experience featuring local artists hosting at local wineries and bars.
I’ve participated in many events hosted at The Works, and they’re great about coming to you or a space you’re renting and teaching to a crowd. You can plant succulents, paint pottery, or even learn the art of sashiko mending. They also host The Bachelor watch parties!

Have a chef cook for your party at home
I’ve always wanted the excuse to book a private chef experience at home, and this seems like the perfect occasion. They’ll work with you to create a 4-course meal for up to 10 people. They provide all the ingredients and equipment, then clean up so you can focus on your friends.
Splurge on a fancy meal
How often do you get all of your friends together for an evening? Celebrate this rarity by splurging on a fine dining restaurant in Seattle. I’m partial to the Space Needle’s Loupe Lounge for cocktails and a scenic view if yor bachelorette party is during the off season when it’s open. Or try Ascend for their immaculate sushi and steak offerings, plus theatrical drinks. Sushi Kashiba is best for high-end sushi right in the heart of the market.

Try a new fitness class
Break out of your comfort zone with a fun fitness class, like this pole and boudoir dance class or this aerial yoga experience. If you’re into ballet or hip hop, check out the schedule at the Westlake Dance Center.
If you’ve never tried cat yoga, book a class for your group at the Seattle Meowtropolitan. They also have a cafe, and you can literally bask in a sound bath of cats. If you prefer dogs, there’s also Puppies & Yoga!

Go dancing
Celebrate your last night of freedom the old fashioned way, with some nightclub dancing! Here are some of my favorite nightclubs in Seattle:
- Trinity – Two dance floors and a swanky Asian-themed cocktail lounge
- Q – Bumping music with VIP table service
- Neighbors Nightclub and Lounge – Capitol Hill’s longest running gay nightclub
- Cowgirls Inc. – Pioneer Square’s country music hangout
Get good ‘ole fashion brunch
Brunch dates are the best dates, and that’s a hill I’ll die on. When it comes to bachelorette parties, they should always start or end with brunch. Here are some of my favorite brunch spots in Seattle:
- Arthur’s – All-day cafe with Australian-inspired eats
- The Whale Wins – European larder-style eatery from a James Beard-winning chef
- Oddfellows – Aesethic as heck with brunch classics and cocktails
- La Chingona Taqueria – Fun Mexican brunch spot with great drinks

Schedule a tarot or astrology reading
If you’re curious as to what the future holds for you and your pals, sign up for an in-person or virtual astrology reading from Jazmin, a Seattle astrologer.
Or book one of these psychics and tarot card readers:
- Tarot Card Reading, Chakra Balancing, and Psychic Energy
- Tarot, Crystal Ball, or Palm Readings
- Tarot Card and Soul Mate Reading
Take the ferry to Bainbridge or Whidbey Island
If you have time for a weekend girls’ trip, hop on the ferry to Bainbridge Island or Whidbey Island for wine tasting or shopping. Bainbridge Island has tons of wineries and restaurants, plus a cute downtown sprinkled with boutiques.
Whidbey Island is Washington’s largest island and has its fair share of wineries, restaurants, and outdoor adventures like kayaking and whale watching.
If you don’t want to plan your trip, here are some tours on the islands:
- All-Inclusive Bainbridge Island Winery & Dinner Tour
- Bainbridge Island: Troll Treasures & Wine Wonders

Go on a yoga retreat
My sister and I often go on yoga retreats. I imagine doing this with a group of friends would make it an even better experience. iLa Yoga Studio offers two retreats in the fall and winter in Leavenworth at the Post Hotel and includes food and guided hikes.
Move Whole offers a yoga retreat on Orcas Island that includes daily yoga classes, guided journal prompts, and access to a gorgeous resort overlooking Doe Bay.

Seattle bachelorette party itinerary ideas
One of the best bachelorette party ideas in Seattle is to spend a whole day or weekend together with your friends. If you only have one day in Seattle and want to see the city, here’s what I would do:

- Take this Seattle boat tour
- Spend some time exploring Pike Place Market

- Get brunch at The Whale Wins
- Soak at the Ladies Room, a floating sauna, or hot tub boat
- Get mani-pedis and/or a blowout at a salon
- Enjoy dinner and a show at The Pink Door
- End the night at a speakeasy or with a bar crawl

If you can swing two days in Seattle, I’d use one of the itineraries above and do this on the second day:
- Enjoy a drag brunch at Julia’s or Dreamland
- Hire a bus to take you wine tasting in Woodinville
- Book a personal chef to make you a meal at your home
- Reserve a tarot card reading to enjoy over wine
